Activities In The PM Shri School
Under the PM Shri scheme, a flagship mission and the dream project of the honourable Prime Minister, many activities are being organized in the school. Until the school was capped as one of the PM Shri schools, it had been reeling under scarcity of budget for developing infrastructure. During the current financial year the school has received a grant of more than eight lakh fifty seven thousand one hundred and eight rupees; also a grant has been issued to the developing agency for tiling the assembly area and the activity ground.
Programs like community mobilization have been able to influence the mass. The community has been able to grasp the vision behind the establishing PM Shri schools. “The school will now see a substantial lift in the standards and will notice an increase in enrolment in the upcoming year,” said Mr Dalip Singh, the chairperson of the School Management Committee who was addressing a mass gathering at the community mobilization program.
First time since the inception of the school, a three day field visit was organised by the school. The educational tour to the Jim Corbett National Park Ramnagar was not only a fun for the students of a rural background but visiting to Jim Corbett National Park offers students a hands-on environmental education experience, fostering awareness and appreciation for nature and conservation.
And now, IT (Information Technology) facilities are also being made available to students as a subject, ensuring that they gain exposure to modern technological knowledge.
The school is now being equipped with the CCTV Cameras. At present, all classes in the school are taught using digital boards, making it easier for all students to understand even the most difficult concepts. And the school is also now being equipped with the drip irrigation system.
Under this scheme, apart from getting a handsome amount for. Turning the school in to a ‘Green School’, we have received 65k rupees for the purchase of millets. Every week, we are adding one or the other millets like Jhingora, Kale Bhatt, and Soyabean etc. in the mid-day meal. This initiative will surely help students achieve a good physical growth. It will, in turn, lead to a sound mental status enabling them to learn the concepts well.
Thanks to this unique scheme launched by the Prime Minister. We are quite optimistic that the students will bring laurels to the institution and the school will become a torch bearer for the other primary and secondary schools in the vicinity. And also thanks to Vandana Rautela Ma’am (BEO Syalde), for supporting all the school activities.
